Discover Scale Up Pathways for Growth – Discovery Session 09.09.20

Are you a business leader who is on a growth pathway? Do you feel that it is lonely at the top? Or you struggle to work on the business strategies rather than the day to day operations? If so, then Scale Up New Anglia (SUNA) may be able to offer the support you are looking for.

SUNA pathways and events can benefit you and your business as you and your business navigate your scaling-up and growth journey. SUNA provides an opportunity for like-minded business owners to discuss their experiences and challenges at our events as well as develop personally through our dedicated peer to peer development programmes: Silver to Gold Growth Pathway with Tom Yeung and the Mastermind Pathway with Sam Lindley.

If you would like to know more then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. If you are keen to learn more about the developmental pathways and other support we can offer, you can experience free taster sessions for each pathway on Wednesday the 9th September at 10am online via Zoom.

The first year of the Scale Up New Anglia (SUNA) Pathways for Growth programmes are nearly at a close. What a year it has been for us all. With the difficulties possed through Covid-19, the companies we have worked with on both the Mastermind Peer to Peer Pathway and the Silver to Gold Growth Pathway has, as the world has said, been unprecedented. Those who have taken part in the programmes throughout this period (through online support sessions via zoom and phone) have found the support from the facilitators, the Scale Up team and in particular each other in the group has been really useful. And we are looking forward to having our graduation for these excellent businesses (hopefully physically) later on this year.

As we look to come out of the lockdown, and businesses have had to adapt, develop and look to recover and restart, we are now looking to recruit our next cohort of growing businesses who would like to take advantages of the 2 dedicated pathways. The 2 growth pathways are:

Book for Your Taster Session Experience

To enable you to see if either of these pathways may be suitable for you and your business, we will be holding a very short taster session to introduce you to the trainers and their programmes on the 9th September via Zoom.  This will be between 10am and 11:30am. Hosted by Dr. Morgan Potter, the High Growth Manager for the New Anglia Growth Hub, and lead for the Scale Up New Anglia (SUNA) programme, we will give a brief introduction to SUNA followed by a quick elevator pitch about each of the two pathways by each trainer, Sam Lindley for the Mastermind sessions, and Tom Yeung for the Silver to Gold sessions.

After this short 15 min intro, all attendees will be sent to either one of two virtual session rooms. Each session will last around 30 minutes, then guests will swap rooms to experience the other session. There will then be 10-15 minutes to come back to the main zoom session to ask Morgan Potter, Sam Lindley, Tom Yeung or the Programme Coordinator, Sue Simmons, any questions.

You can sign up for the taster session here: https://bit.ly/SUNADiscovery

Or email: sue.simmons@newanglia.co.uk

What Happens After the Taster Session?

After this, you can either sign up to attend these sessions in the next cohort. Dr. Morgan Potter or the trainer from your chosen pathway will call you to introduce themselves and supply you with a pre-event questionnaire/assessment to allow us to ensure you get what you are looking for from the course and where you are in your growth and development journey.

We are hoping to start with a physical session in early October but awaiting the information on social distancing from our management and the Government and if we are unable to start new physical events, we will start the sessions virtually via zoom or look to postpone for physical events till Jan 2021, but we will keep you up to date on these events as more information is supplied in the coming weeks and months.

If you have any questions in the meantime about these sessions please feel free to email the programme coordinator Sue Simmons (sue.simmons@newanglia.co.uk) and she will be happy to assist you or put you in touch with the trainers as required to help answer your enquiry.
