Benefit from the New Business Resilience and Recovery Scheme

Business Resilience Cogs in a Machine

This is the latest grant to be promoted by the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (NALEP) and The Business Resilience and Recovery Scheme (referred to as the R&R Scheme) has been established to support businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic and during the economic recovery. This scheme was launched on the 27th April 2020, funding will be in high demand.

It will provide grants to support short-term business resilience projects and longer-term recovery and diversification projects.  This is therefore particularly suitable for PPE providers with the attraction of potentially higher intervention rates than traditional Growing Business Fund.

Typical projects which would be supported include:

  • Support for the manufacture of products to tackle the Coronavirus outbreak
  • Support for Coronavirus related research and development
  • Development of new technology or innovation and productivity improvements
  • Short term manufacturing diversification, for example to support production of PPE
  • Longer-term development for future recovery and diversification
  • Identification and mobilisation into new markets
